The Cape Brett Challenge Scenic Runs through the Bay of Islands

The Cape Brett Challenge is an annual event which consists of the Explore NZ Cape Brett Relay (37km), the Cape Brett Walkways Kauri Ridge Walk (10km), the Helly Hanson Cape Brett Challenge (37km) and the Outdoor Action Whangamumu (17km).

The challenge is held in Rawhiti in the Bay of Islands. The race location offers beautiful scenery with scenic destinations. To the runners, the views during the run can be a reward in itself.

The 2011 event was postponed till April 2012 due to sponsorship and funding difficulties.
